ATM & CO-OP Branches

ATM (Automatic Teller Machine) Services

The Southern CU has seven ATMs located at seven branch offices to make accessing your account easy and convenient. There are ATMs located at our Fayetteville, Griffin, Jonesboro, LaGrange, McDonough, Newnan and Peachtree City branch offices.

You can use your TSCU Visa Check Card or ATM card wherever you see the Star, Cirrus, or Visa logo. There are no fees assessed when using your card at a TSCU machine. There is a nominal fee assessed when using another financial institution’s machine.

The Allpoint ATM Network

Members of The Southern Credit Union can now access cash from just about anywhere in the U.S. surcharge-free* through the Allpoint ATM network. So what is an ATM surcharge? An ATM surcharge is the extra fee you normally pay for not having an account with the bank that owns the ATM you’re using. That fee can be as much as $3.50 or more with some banks, but with Allpoint, it’s free. With more than 55,000 ATMs coast to coast, Allpoint is your single largest source for surcharge-free ATM access.

To find a convenient Allpoint Network ATM, members can visit http://www.allpointnetwork.com or download the Allpoint mobile app for your smartphone. When a member enters his or her location, the ATM locator brings up all the nearby Allpoint Network ATMs, providing exact
addresses of the ATM sites in closest proximity to the location entered.

*If applicable, normal non-surcharge related fees from The Southern for using non-TSCU ATMs may apply.
*Non-surcharge related fees for using a non-TSCU ATM may apply. Please refer to the TSCU rate and fee schedule.

If you are unable to visit one of our full-service branch offices, members of The Southern CU may conduct transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, etc.) at a Credit Union Service Center (CUSC) or Outlet (CUSO).

A CUSC is a “shared” facility cooperatively owned by participating credit unions in Georgia. A CUSO is a service center inside the branch of another credit union. With locations nationwide, members of The Southern CU can go to these locations to conduct basic transactions for your account at The Southern CU.

When visiting a Service Center or Service Outlet, remember:

  • To only go to those facilities with the CO-OP logo.
  • To have your picture ID and member number available.
  • You can only conduct basic transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and making loan payments.
  • Due to the nature of a Service Center or Outlet, members cannot take part in any of the following services:
opening any account, applying for a loan, picking up a loan check, anything involving IRAs, or negotiating term
    share certificates.
