eStatements are a secure, easy and convenient way to view your accounts, all within Online Banking.
Good For:
- Reduce your risk of identity theft from statements stolen out of the mail or recycling bin.
- Access eStatements as far as back as 18 months to help you track your account history. (can request copy)
- Download statements to your computer for easy and safe record-keeping.
- Eliminate the need to store or shred paper statements.

When are Online Statements Received?
You’ll receive an email alert when your statement is available for viewing in Online Banking. Monthly, FAST Cash, Mortgage, HELOC and Visa Credit Card statements are all available!
How Do I Get My Personal Online Statements?
To view your Online Statements, log in to your Online Banking account and select eStatements from the menu bar and that’s it!
NOTE: The most current Account Online Statement available will be the previous month.
Having issues viewing your eStatements?
If you are having issues viewing or downloading your estatement, please be sure that your device is not blocking third-party cookies. Also, recent changes to your operating system software such as upgrades, downloads, and/or system enhancements can affect your device’s ability to connect with secure sites and view PDF documents including eStatements.
We recommend trying the following steps:
1. Verify that your device is current on all system updates.
2. Ensure that you are using the most up-to-date version of your browser.
3. If using Adobe Acrobat Reader, un-install and re-install Adobe Acrobat Reader.
4. In your browser settings, verify that “allow all cookies” is selected or that “block third-party cookies” is turned off.

Some pop-up blocker and firewall programs may prevent access to eStatements. If you utilize these types of applications, you may need to disable certain features of the programs to access your eStatements.
Alerts & Notifications (Email or Text Message)
Alerts and notifications regarding your account via text or email messages is a quick and easy way to get updates on your account without logging into our Online or Mobile banking.
To access Alerts, log in to Online Banking, click Additional Services, choose Mobile Banking and Alerts and then select one of the account Alert Types that you wish to receive.
Customize Alerts to Fit Your Needs
You can easily customize your account alerts with threshold dollar amounts, schedule the frequency of updates and even add personal messages that will be sent along with the alert notification. The service is designed to make it more convenient to securely manage your account.

eNotices and eTax Forms
eNotices and eTax Forms are located within the eStatements section in Online Banking. eNotices are electronic versions of notices such as non-sufficient funds, late loan payment, and loan billing notices. eTax Forms are electronic versions of your tax forms issued from The Southern. To access eNotices and eTax Forms, login to Online Banking, select eStatements.
Text Banking
Text Banking is an easy way to request and receive account information via text message to your phone without having to sign in to Online or Mobile Banking. If your phone can send and receive texts, you can use Text Banking.
It’s secure, it’s free and easy to set up!
- Login to Online Banking
- Select Additional Services
- Select Mobile Banking and Alerts
- Select Text Message Banking - to the right of the Alerts and Notifications box
- Click ‘Start text banking now’
- Follow the prompts to activate Text Banking!

- BAL Primary balance
- LAST Last 5 transactions
- TRANS Transfer funds to primary account
- STOP Deactivate Text Message Banking Service
